Learn 2.0, Week9

The Library Musical video cracked me up. Though they were a little off-key, they managed to put on a good performance in front of their classmates. Listening to the song "Alice in Wonderland" by Emily Wallace was great. She has a terrific singing voice.

Learn 2.0, Week 8

The Flickr Hawaii video presentation was very good (brought back memories) and the photos were sharp and colorful. Web sites like Creative Commons and Public Library of Science help the artist to protect his or her rights when putting their work out into cyberspace for consumers. More power to them.

Learn 2.0: Week #7

Pretty good lesson. The Otronicon video was fast and fun to watch. The other sites like Traineo, Dogster and Catster were pretty good and gives you a wealth of information if you are a cat/dog lover and the fitness information, on audio, was great to listen to. Let me know what you think of lesson #7.

Library Thing-Week 6

Week six of Learn 2.0 was something else. To use various web sites like Map of the World, Wikimapia to look up cities and towns around the world and the distance between them. Finding OCLS on Wikimapia was a bit challenging but fun. Using Motormapusa to get information on a particular make and model car was great. What I Should Read Next? is also a great tool to find books on a subject I am interested in. Send me your comments about this lesson.

Learn 2.0, Week 4

Web 2.0 was really something. Navigating through various web sites like Youtube, MySpace and Google to get the information I needed. Reading about those two guys who created Youtube and selling it to Google for a cool 1.65 billion dollars, they are on easy street. Finding OCLS on MySpace (teen programs at Teen Central) and Youtube (Take Know for an Answer campaign) was inventive and highly informative. What do you guys think? Let me know.
