Learn 2.0, Week 4

Web 2.0 was really something. Navigating through various web sites like Youtube, MySpace and Google to get the information I needed. Reading about those two guys who created Youtube and selling it to Google for a cool 1.65 billion dollars, they are on easy street. Finding OCLS on MySpace (teen programs at Teen Central) and Youtube (Take Know for an Answer campaign) was inventive and highly informative. What do you guys think? Let me know.

Learn 2.0, Week 3

I have chosen 5 feeds (RSS) on Bloglines: news, fitness weekly tips (10), Library Leader, OCLS General Announcements, and Technology@OCLS. Wikis helps me to look up information on a subject I am interested in. Creating the free account was tricky, but with some help, I was confirmed via the message on my e-mail. Grokker is a good search site. Type in a subject and using the Map View tab to narrow down the vast information on on a subject like health and fitness.
